PhotoBooth Props {DIY}

Hallo my lovelies!!! Today I’m blogging about Photobooth Props! I wanted something fun and simple for groups to do when posing for group shots at weddings and decided on photobooth props. Being DIY crazy, I decided to have a go myself :) And it’s very easy and FUN!

What I used:
Felt ~ I love the texture it gives the moustaches. I managed to get some that is self-adhesive. This way it’s easy to stick to the craft foam.
Craft Foam ~ you need something that gives your prop ‘structure’
Glue Gun ~ cheap at any DIY store
Some Prop Templates
Skewers ~ look at the BBQ section at stores

Here’s some lovely felt, still trying to work out how to use all the lovely colours :)

Craft foam

Glue gun! WARNING: Be very careful with the glue gun. The glue is like plastic that melts, so it’s very sticky and sets super fast. It’s also very HOT. So plan carefully and make sure you know where you want the glue because it’s NOT coming off! :)

Felt and craft foam, ready to stick together…

Stuck together…

Trace your template onto the back of the craft foam and cut out…

Moustaches ready for action!

And so are the lippies…

Ready to glue! I measure how far I want to skewer to be inserted. Make 100% sure where you want it.

Then I carefully peal the to layers apart and insert the skewer, making sure of the position I want it in.

Then comes the hot glue! I have to picture of applying the glue because it sets super fast and you need to concentrate to get it right. I squeezed in about 2 drops and pressed the layers together firmly around the skewer.

Done!

I hope this helped some of you. I would love to see your masterpieces! x
