When I look at Roxie and Shaun, all I see is love, the love they have for each other. It’s in the way the look at each other and the way the are when they are together. I’ve been looking for a quote on love and all I could think of was the scripture above. It’s how love should be and what love is all about. And this is the kind of love that I wish upon Roxie and Shaun :)

This wedding was one of my favourite weddings so far. Roxie and Shaun welcomed me with open arms into their lives. We met face-to-face when I photographed their In Love shoot in the heart of Cape Town. They made me feel like family. They are also my sister’s besties! So, I have to be honest and say that this wedding was another ‘family affair’. The day started gorgeous, sunny and hot! As time got closer to the wedding ceremony, thunder clouds started to gather and the first rain drop fell when Roxie got out of the car and the venue. But she was all smiles. You could just tell that all she could think about was her Viking Shaun. Yes, Shaun is her Viking, how sweet is that! The weather ‘paused’ for the outdoor ceremony and only a few drops fell during the couple shoot, adding a bit of drama to the images :) And then the skies cleared again :)

The day for Roxie started at the Surf Shack Blouberg and the ceremony and reception was held at Bon Amis – Bloemental. We had such a great time and dances until everyone left :) I have to warn you, this blog post is image heavy. It’s just so hard for me to pick my favourites and I just loved this day so much.
